Where is the best place in Uttarakhand?

Mountains are truly solaced for the soul and a place like Uttarakhand can uplift anyone’s spirit. As a ‘Devbhoomi’, Uttarakhand is considered as the home of Gods and Goddesses. It is situated close to the Himalayas and hence gives the perfect view of this magnificent beauty.
The best views can be taken from the open and isolated cottages of Uttarakhand. Although there are too many places to visit in Uttarakhand, few of them are still not commercialized and untouched. Here is a list of places that not many of you know about, but are a delight to visit.
Ranikhet:
Also known as ‘the Queens land’, Ranikhet showcases the clear view of Himalayas. Some of the famous places to visit are Nanda Devi, Chaubatia Orchard, and Mankameshawar Temple.
Nanital:
If you haven’t visit Nainital then you have truly not experienced Uttarakhand in its true colors. Situated at the heart of the city, The Naini Lake is a sight to behold and devour your senses. The place is also known for its famous Tibbat market, the lovely Naini Peak, and Tiffin tower. Make sure you stroll the streets of Uttarakhand and don’t worry about the weather as it is soothing all year long.
Auli:
A lesser known place, Auli is the ski destination at Uttarakhand. Located among the foothills of Garhwal hills, Auli’s snowclad mountains will fulfill your heart and soul. Few must visit places are Trishul Peak, Vanshinarayan Kalpeshwar Valley, Joshimath and Winter-Ski Resort.
Lansdowne:
A cantonment area, it is compared to Switzerland. The scenic beauty and the splendid air that surrounds Lansdowne mesmerise you to your very core. There is no doubt it being the most famous hill stations famous among the tourists. Situated at the height of 1706 meters above sea level, this magic land this surrounded by thick oak and pine trees. Some of the places you need to visit while being at Lansdowne are St, Mary's Church, Darwan Singh Sangrahalaya, Tiffin Top and Snow View Point.
Chakrata:
A secluded and silent town with postcard shape houses less number of people, Chakrata is for those who want to isolate themselves for some time. The best part about this place is that you can visit here, any time of the year you want. Budher caves and The Tiger Waterfalls will make your visit even more peaceful.
If you think that winter is not the right time to visit Uttarakhand then think again. Yes, it may not come across as much as a great place if you don’t like cold places but visit it for the lovely snow-clad mountains, Pristine blue sky and of course, the lovely starry nights.
